Nadat de wereld een tijdlang afstand leek te nemen van al te veel religie en de secularisatie zienderogen toenam (bijv. leegloop van de kerken, ineenzakken van het aantal priesterroepingen), blijkt er tegenwoordig een remonte aan de gang te zijn, die gepaard gaat met een angswekkend fanatisme. Daarnaast zie je ook een algehele toename van het eindtijd-denken. Je vindt het terug bij christenen, moslims, joden... Maar ook bij de New Agers, met als kernjaar 2012. Daarover zijn massa filmpjes te verzamelen. Wederom probeer ik hier de betere te verzamelen, het kaf van het koren te scheiden... Niet gemakkelijk.
Er zijn verbanden te leggen tussen deze groep documentaires en de MILIEU groep, de groep ivm 9-11... waar eindtijddenken en geloof ook vaak een rol in spelen.

Dat zeg ik al jaren: atheistische materialisten zijn even (fanatiek) gelovig als de eerste de beste christen of moslim.

De film toont wederom dat je met voldoende centen iets geloofwaardigs kunt in elkaar steken. Al vind ik dat de sceptici meestal niet sceptisch genoeg stilstaan bij hun scepticisme wil ik hun stem hier ook laten horen. De scepticus van dienst heeft er veel werk in gestoken. Toch moet hij zich eens verdiepen in het serieuzere werk ivm toevalsgeneratoren.
